Strategic Analysis

Strategic Analysis is a significant concept for managing our organisation with a proper and successful strategic plan, in fact for an effective strategic analysis of our company we need to understand some concepts.

  1. The external environment
  2. The strategic capability of the organisation(the internal environment)
  3. Stakeholders expectations and perceptions of the purposes of Capri intercity financial.

In this post i just write about the first point which is the external environment.External environment or Macro-environment are some factors which could make some changes in your business or your industry. Indeed one of the best framework to analyse your external environment is PESTEL analysis. PESTEL is an abbreviation for :Political,Economic, Social,Technological,Environmental,Legal factors which might affect your strategy. However there are some other frameworks such as Michel porter's 5 forces which could give you an insight into the forces at work in your business (see the diagram). Moreover identifying the strategic customers and their value are essential. Finlay SWOT analysis (opportunity and threat parts- strength and weakness are for internal environment) is another technique to understand the external environment of the company.Always using different analysis help us to find where we are standing and also where the others are(customers, competitors). Sometimes it looks hard to implement these frameworks, you need to say "I Can" instead of "Can I?",you can do it.......
